We're hoping to adopt!
We're a married couple from Brooklyn, NY and we're hoping to become first-time parents through adoption. We've been together for 10 years, married for 7, and can't wait to share our crazy love for each other with a kiddo.
We met at work, where we're both creative directors, so creativity is big in our house. We hope to raise a free-spirited, open-minded child with a big heart.
Adoption has always felt like the right path for us. We know it's a lifelong journey, and intend to be there with unconditional love, through the ups, downs and in-betweens.
Please have a look around and get to know us. We'd love to get to know you too :)

What Howard Loves About Casey:
"Casey is the best. She’s a kind, brilliant, silly goofball who loves with her whole heart.
She believes she can make a difference in this world and she attempts to everyday.
I always knew Casey was an amazing person, but when I watch her with her nephews, and see how madly in love with her they are and she is with them, I see that Casey is also going to be an amazing mom."

What Casey Loves About Howard:
"Howard is the most patient, caring, humble man. He wants people to be happy and makes it his job to keep them smiling. He's the funniest person I've ever met and always looks on the bright side of life. He's generous with his love and that's what's going to make him such an amazing dad."

OUR STORY
BFFs 4 Life
Our story starts at work. Before we started dating, we were co-workers and best friends, like Pam and Jim from The Office. We dated in secret for a few months before telling our coworkers, who all pretended to be surprised. Turns out, we weren't great at hiding our feelings :)
After dating for three years, Howard popped the question. We got married at an Italian restaurant in Montreal in 2016 and began our journey to start a family. We've been through almost six years of infertility and suffered some tough losses. But all along, we felt like adoption might be the right path for us.
We have so much love to give and can't wait to share it with a child.

OUR FAVORITE THINGS
Traveling: We've been to 32 countries and counting. Hanging with kangaroos in Australia was a highlight :)
Cooking: Something is always on the stove in our house. Fave recipes include Casey's stepmom's banana bread and Howard's chickpea stew.
Art: Writing, drawing, painting, sculpting—we love it all. Art is fundamental to who we are and something we're looking forward to sharing with a child.
Comedy: Howard gets paid to do improv comedy and Casey's comedy writing has been published all over the internet, so laughing is serious business to us :)

OUR FAMILY
We come from big, loving families who can’t wait for them to get a little bigger.
Howard has two loving, gregarious parents who live in Philly, in the same house that Howard and his twin sister, Dayna, grew up in. His bedroom there still has the sports and music posters on the walls to prove it. He has so many cousins he can’t even keep track. We spend every Thanksgiving in Philly talking about two birds: the turkey and the Philadelphia Eagles.
Casey's family lives in Canada: her dad, sister, and our two adorable nephews live in Montreal. And her mom and stepdad live in Halifax, Nova Scotia. She also has four amazing stepsisters! When we want to visit family in a warmer climate, we go see Casey's aunt, uncle and all her cousins, who live in Australia.
And of course, we can't forget our first child: our Australian Cattle Dog named Ziggy 🐶

OUR COMMUNITY
Welcome to Brooklyn!
Living in New York has brought so much fun and joy to our lives. Between museums, parks, Broadway shows, and all the culture the city has to offer, we can’t wait to introduce a kiddo to the city.
We have tons of friends with kids in the neighborhood, so your child will have instant besties.
Our little nook in Brooklyn is full of diverse families, great schools and small shops and restaurants. It has a real community vibe. And it’s right by the biggest park in Brooklyn, where we take our dog for a big run every morning.
